RESEARCH INTERESTS
During the first half of my career my research focused on a set of interconnected conceptual questions at the intersection of history, philosophy and science education as illustrated by the work of H.B.D. Kettlewell on industrial melanism. My current research focus is on documenting whether and how narratives constructed with respect to the history of science can promote the learning of and about science.
